Tiwatope savage popularly known as Tiwa savage was born on February 5, 1980 at Ikeja, Lagos State, Nigeria. Tiwa Savage graduated from the University of Kent, bagging a degree in Business Administration. Tiwa Savage later went further to get a degree in Professional music from Berklee College of music. She is a talented Singer, Recording Artist and Songwriter. Due to the fact that her parents relocated to London when she was just 11 years old, that foreign environment had a lot to do in influencing her musical career. Tiwa Savage’s exposure in the music industry began as far back as when she was in High School. Then she did back-up vocals for popular musicians like Mary J. Blige, Kelly Clarkson and others. She has also been opportuned to perform on stage with big names in the music industry like 50 Cent, Eminem, Destiny’s Child and several others. Tiwa Savage has had various collaborations with different Nigerian artiste like Flavour, Waje, Don Jazzy, P Square and several others. Tiwa Savage is a very determined and talented Musician. She has managed through hard work and unflinching courage to reach the top charts in the Nigerian Music industry. She sings in both English and Yoruba. Tiwa Savage is presently signed to Mavin Records and Sony music Publishing. She is a humanitarian to the core, she has been involved in empowerment programs for the youths and breast cancer screening projects all over Nigeria. Tiwa Savage is married to Tunji Balogun known as Tee Billz. He is also her manager. Tiwa Savage has won several Awards, in fact as a singer, the sky is only her limit.
